Amal’s practice focuses on advice and litigation in employee benefits law and employment law matters. She works with numerous multiemployer plan clients including defined benefit pension plans, defined contribution plans, and health and welfare plans in various compliance areas including ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code. She also represents employers in all aspects of the employment relationship including litigation involving race, disability, age, religious, sex and sexual orientation discrimination, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
Amal obtained her undergraduate degree from George Mason University in 2016 and her Juris Doctor from Temple University, Beasley School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Amal served as President of the South Asian Law Students Association and participated in Temple’s State Judicial Clerkship Program, through which she interned for the Honorable Marlene F. Lachman, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. She is a member of the bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
In her free time, Amal enjoys cooking, snowboarding, and spending time with her friends.
